Fundraiser Drive Letter

Hello Ocean View Supporter,

Our football program is comprised of student athletes from various backgrounds. A large portion of our players must work to help pay bills around the house and put food on their tables. Your generosity would allow for these athletes to partake in football and allow myself as a coach to be able to provide them with the experience of being on a team…Helping them to be a part of something greater than themselves.

You are a valued part of the Huntington Beach community, and we know you’re dedicated to investing and supporting your community. You no doubt understand the pressing need for High School aged kids to engage in character development that teaches valuable life lessons that come from working together as a team.

At Ocean View High School Football, our efforts to provide an environment to mentor and help our athletes grow on and off the field can’t take effect unless we have the support of everyone in our community. I’d love to invite you to team up with us to help make a difference!

On Saturday August 16th, we will have our 3^rd annual family picnic and fundraiser. I’m writing to ask you to help us with a gift card donation and or company merchandise that can be used in baskets that are going to be raffled off to raise money for the program!   Most programs charge a participation fee, your in-kind donations will allow me to keep this program fee free to our players and these families!

All donations, either product or sponsorship, are tax deductible. Our Non-Profit TAX ID number is 33-0445220. We can’t wait to share our partnership with you with our football family.  This is a great way to advertise as well as contribute to the community and help our program! Your donation is greatly appreciated.

No benefit was bestowed upon you, the donor in exchange for this contribution, other than the joy of watching your local football team march to victory.
